1. The History of Sic Bo

Sic Bo was introduced to North America around the 1900’s when people from china began to immigrate to the US. It is a ancient Chinese game of chance played with three dice. The name itself, Sic Bo, also referred to as big and small, hi-low, stands for dice pair. Because of the different countries in Asia, the name of the game also will vary depending on the location. The two other names known in Asia are Tai Sai and Dai Sui.

2. What is Sic Bo?
   Sic Bo is played with three dice that is either placed in a basket or cup for the casino to shake and roll. There are a variety of betting areas on the table with each area representing a different outcome or combination of outcomes of what the three dice may be. Just like roulette, players are able to bet on a variety of bets at the same time before each roll. The different betting  areas of the game are called “Single Number Bets”, ”Two Number Combinations”, “Three Number Total”, “Big or Small” “Triple Bets” and  “Double Bets”. Betting area payouts can range anywhere 1-1, all the way up to 180-1.
3. What are Single Number Bets?
   Single number bets are when the player places bets on the outcome of one of the three dice. There are 6 betting areas for each individual number that will show out in the game. Payouts for single number bets are 1 to 1, unless one of the two following occurs. If two of the three dice shows the number you bet on, the player will win 2 to1. If three of three dice shows the number you bet on, the player will win 3 to 1.
4. Two Number Combinations
   Two number combinations are when the player places bets on any two dice combinations located on the table. If 2 of the 3 dice result in any of the two dice combination where bets has been placed, that player wins 6 to 1 for their bet. With the two number combinations, players have the possibility to win an additional time if bets have been placed on two different two number combos. For example, a player can win 26 to 1 places bets on the 3 and 6 two number combinations and the 6 and 4 two number combinations, the results of the roll of the three dice is 3,6 and 4. But if a player places a bet on the 3 and 6 combinations with the outcome of the dice being 3, 6 and 6, the player will only receive pays of 6 to 1 verses how the single number bets increase payouts with 2 of the same valued dice.

   Three number totals are when the player places bets on a combined numerical result of the three dice from 4 to 17. These different numbers each have a different payout value.  Sic Bo tables have both the three and eighteen missing. As a result, all combinations with one of these totals will result with no wins.

   
   
6. Big or Small Big or small bets are two different bets on the table. If the player places a bet on “Big”, the rolls for the three dice must total from 11 to 17. If the player places bet on “Small”, rolls for the three dice must total from 4 to 10. Payouts for “Big of Small” are 1 to 1. Note: If triples are made to make the combination rolls of the “Big” or “Small”, they will result in an automatic lost.
7. Specified Double and Triple Bets
   Specified double bets are when bets are placed onto two identical dice out of the three. Combinations are 1&1, 2&2, 3&3, 4&4, 5&5, and 6&6. Payouts for specified double bets are 10 to 1 at any of our sponsored casinos vs. 8 to 1 offered at other casinos.

8. Any Triple
   Triple bets are when bets are placed for any three identical dice combinations. Payout wins for any triple bets are 30 to 1.
