Caribbean Stud Poker is a table game that combines two popular casino games together – Blackjack and poker. The card game uses similar rules to five-card stud poker and is played against the house rather than other players.

2. What does Ante Mean
   Ante is a forced bet/wager which players must place in the beginning of a game to qualify.
3. What is a Fold
   Fold happens when a player wishes not to continue in the game by not matching the wager in the game and forfeits their hand when they think they will lose.
4. What is a Call
   Call is when a player wishes to match the equal amount being placed from a previous bet in order to stay in a game.
5. What is a Qualifying Hand
   Qualifying hand is when the dealer has an Ace and a King or higher and is important when players want to win at Caribbean Stud Poker. If the face card for the dealer shows an Ace, King, or a card that matches one of the players’, this helps players to determine whether or not the dealer has a qualifying hand. If the dealer doesn’t have a qualifying hand, all calls/plays/raises made are void and the player will only receive even money on the ante bet.
6. Progressive Jackpots
   Before any cards are dealt, players have the option of making a 1 $/€/£/1000¥ bet at their chance for the Progressive Jackpot. Dealer does not need to qualify for a player to win Progressive Jackpots. If no progressive jackpots have been claimed, portions from these bets go to help form larger jackpots.

7. Let’s Start Playing – Simple Steps:
   Baccarat begins with every player placing his ante on a marked area on the table. Players are also given the option of progressive jackpots in Caribbean Poker. Players can participate in the progressive jackpots by dropping a 1 $/€/£/1000¥ chip into the designated slot but only before any cards are dealt and the dealer says “No more bets”. Please note players are allowed only one hand and any wagers or holds placed on multiple hands in baccarat are not permitted.
   
   Once every player has placed their ante, 5 cards are dealt out to both the player and the dealer (dealers cards are dealt face down). When the dealer has flipped over one of their five cards, players are then able to view their cards. Players must decide if they want to continue or not by selecting call/play or fold. If a player wishes to continue, they must call/play their bet by placing a double amount of what they had previously anted into the betting circle. Players that choose to fold must forfeit their ante and are withdrawn from the game.
   
   The goal is to beat the dealer by holding a higher hand using A/K or a poker hand. Payouts will vary depending on the poker hand the player is holding and is ONLY valid if the dealer has a qualifying hand of A/K or higher. If the dealer has no qualifying hand, regardless of the strength of the players’ hand, the player will receive 1 to 1 pays on the ante and all Call/Play/Raised bets are returned as a push.
   

   

   Example: Dealer has No Qualifying Hand - Ante $1000 & Bet $2000 - Player Wins $1000 for Ante Bet

   Once players have made their decision, the dealer will then turn over to reveal their remaining/hole cards.

   Example: Dealers' Face Card is 2 and has a pair of 8s. Player has Two Pairs. Ante Bet: $1000 & Bet $2000: Player Wins $1000 for Ante & 2 to 1 for bet: $4000: $8000

   • Call/Play/Raise with Ace and King if players hand equals or beats AKJ83.
   • Call/Play/Raise with any pair or higher, especially if the dealer has a low qualifying hand that usually means your hand will often be the winner.
   • Call/Play/Raise when dealer’s card is 2 through queen and matches one of the players’ hand.
   • Fold when ever holding less than the dealer’s qualifying Ace/King hand.

   It is always good to forfeit the ante if the hand can’t beat the dealer’s minimum hand and to wait until the next round. Call/Play/Raise when you feel dealer will fail to qualify (player will win the ante bet and push on raised bets). Call/play/raise when the hand contains the Ace/King and the remaining cards are high or if the dealer’s card matches one of the player’s hand. If the player is holding a small pair, it is suggested to call/play/raise because of the dealer only qualifying less than half the time. This means if the dealer has an Ace/King with no pairs while the player has a pair, the player will win both bet and ante. When a dealer’s card matches one of the player’s cards this lowers the likely hood of the dealer holding a pair.
